The McCarthy Environmental Centre of Excellence, based in our Swan Valley headquarters is the only one of it’s kind its region and offers a range of LEV (local exhaust ventilation) and Occupational Hygiene related courses.

Our Courses

The courses combine classroom learning with practical demonstrations on equipment in our purpose built training facility. All courses will feature a short multiple-choice examination, course notes and hands-on demonstration with LEV equipment. Endorsed by the BOHS, each candidate’s examination will be independently marked and assessed by the BOHS; successful candidates will be awarded with a BOSH certificate of achievement.

Courses will equip businesses and staff with the practical understanding of how LEV systems work, their responsibilities and the responsibilities of their employees. The training will help businesses comply with current regulations regarding COSHH and learn about exposure to dust and fumes in the workplace.
