Geovent Hose Reels: GTE & GTS series
To enhance safety and air quality within the workplace Geovent has successfully manufactured additional accessories that further aid in the quest for a higher standard of ventilation and safety both inside and outside of the workplace. Geovent provides the GTE & GTS series of hose reels for activities where exhaust extraction, general ventilation, and welding extraction are required, such as within garages and repair shops.
The effective design of Geovent’s Hose Reel range ensure that the hose is never lying on the floor, consequently lessening a chance of an accident occurring and overall contributing to a less hazardous workplace and not taking up any space that could be otherwise effectively utilised.
Both GTE and GTS series of hose reel are in possession of a solid, strong build manufactured from highly durable galvanised steel and powder coated parts. This in turn contributes to the long life of usage each hose reel offers its user. The inclusion of a spherical ball bearing contributes to the easy handling that Geovent’s hose reels have to offer.
Although the GTS series of hose reel are suitable for mounting at a high of approximately 2 metres. If a user intends to mount the reel above 5 metres, then a GTE version is advised. Both series are well adapted to be either wall mounted or ceiling mounted, but once again it is recommended that both versions of Hose reel, GTS and GTE versions, are ceiling mounted as not only does it clear potential floor space, but enables the hose to operate at optimum level.
Two types of Geovent Hose Reels are available; Hose Reel GTE (electrical), possesses a motor and radio remote control, allows for a simple and comfortable experience when in use. An optional start/stop switch for fan and open/close motor damper are also available. Please specify when placing an order. Special versions of the GTE hose are also available.
Geovent’s GTS series of hose reels, not electric, are equipped with a steel spring that works in a similar way to that of blind; whereby a user is required to pull down and wait for the lock to effectively settle before starting. The GTS model can also be upgraded from spring to electrical with little hassle if required, as both share a common platform. As standard all GTS models of hoses include a hose stop.
Accessories for Geovent Hose Reels include a selection of nozzles to choose from, an optional switch for automatic start/stop, and a selection of remote controls. Please note that all accessories are sold separately.

Each Hose fits 80, 100, 125, 150, and 200 mm lengths of hose.
Widths – 1000 mm (750 mm and 1400 mm on request)
Lengths – up to 10 m (15 m on request) – Hose – lightweight Aluminium
