BOHS Endorsed LEV Training Centre

The McCarthy Environmental Centre of Excellence, based in our Swan Valley headquarters, is the only one of its kind in the region and offers a range of LEV (local exhaust ventilation) and Occupational Hygiene related courses.

Our Courses

The courses combine classroom learning with practical demonstrations in our purpose-built training facility. All courses will feature a short multiple-choice examination, course notes, and hands-on demonstrations with LEV equipment. Endorsed by the BOHS, each candidate’s examination will be independently marked and assessed by the BOHS. Successful candidates will be awarded with a BOHS certificate of achievement.

Courses will equip businesses and staff with the practical understanding of how LEV systems work, their responsibilities, and the responsibilities of their employees. The training will help businesses to comply with current COSHH regulations and to learn about exposure to dust and fumes in the workplace.
