DENA GIMS
Dena, a frontrunner in air purification technology, designs and produces GIMS sleeve filters. These filters feature an automatic compressed air cleaning system, specifically engineered for the filtration and separation of medium, fine, and ultra-fine dust particles. The automatic cleaning mechanism maintains nearly constant pressure differentials, ensuring consistent suction.
Functioning principle of bag filters
Dust-laden air is drawn into the upper section of the filter's stilling chamber via an inlet connected to the panel. The larger dust particles present in the incoming air experience an initial reduction in speed, causing them to drop into the collection hopper. As the air moves through the calming chamber, it passes through the filter bags from the outside to the inside, allowing impurities to settle in the collection hopper.
The filter is kept in optimal working condition through a cyclical counter-current cleaning system. A burst of compressed air, stored in a dedicated tank, is rapidly injected into the sleeves, generating a powerful reverse shaking wave that dislodges and causes the particles on the outer surfaces of the sleeves to fall away. The auger within the bag filter transports the dust towards the rotary valve, which then periodically expels the dust.
Construction features of bag filters
Constructed entirely from robust galvanized sheet metal, meticulously processed and treated for enhanced longevity, the air purification filter is equipped with a pneumatic sleeve cleaning system and a cyclical programmer for washing sleeves. Additionally, it includes support legs, inspection doors, an explosion-proof door, and a dust collection hopper.
Optional Features:
ATEX compliance. Various dust discharge systems that also adhere to ATEX regulations (20). 304/316 stainless steel options. Coating resistant to harsh environments. Fabricated with specialty steels.
Common Applications
Handling, storage, transportation, mixing, weighing of powdered solid materials, smoothing, sandblasting, grinding, sanding, and edge finishing tasks. Combustion processes involving solid materials and waste. Oxyfuel cutting, plasma cutting, and laser cutting processes. Mechanical surface cleaning operations along with welding tasks.
