DENA GIC T / GICX-T
The GI model bag filter is a self-sufficient dust filtration system, featuring automatic cleaning via compressed air, specifically designed for the filtration and separation of medium, fine, and ultra-fine dust. The automatic cleaning system using compressed air jets helps maintain nearly constant pressure drops.
Operating Principle
In the GI-T bag filter, the contaminated air enters directly into the dust collection hopper. Due to the combined effects of reduced air speed and flow distribution, a portion of the dust settles directly into the hopper, while the rest accumulates on the outer surface of the filter elements. The highly permeable material of the filter bags permits gas to flow through; however, it retains dust, forming the filter's primary filtering layer (cake). Proper removal of the “cake” is crucial for ensuring optimal filtration efficiency and minimizing pressure drops. This balance is achieved through the DENA PULS-JET system, which injects a jet of compressed air, stored in a specialized tank, cyclically into the sleeves. This creates a vigorous counter-current shaking wave that effectively dislodges and causes the particles on the outer surface of the sleeves to fall away.
Construction Features
The bag filter is constructed from robust galvanized sheet metal and is equipped with support legs, inspection access points, and a dust collection hopper.
