Geovent HVU

Like many of their products specializing in extraction, Geovent’s high vacuum Unit (HVU) brings great benefits to the workplace in all types of industry. Manufactured from the highest quality components and equipped with filter cartridges and filter cyclone, the HVU unit is the optimal solution when particles are in need of removal from processes like grinding that produce said waste, and need to be collected and disposed of safely and efficiently.

The standard version of the HVU Unit, suited for indoor use, is equipped with a control panel, safety valve, inlet filters, and a filter cyclone, and through means of compressed air, Geovent’s high vacuum unit inhabits an effective cleaning system which can be equipped with customized controls. The inclusion of a high quality The HVU’s side channel blower (standard model) can be delivered from 5.5 to 15 kW, but upon request can be ordered to deliver up to 20 kW if required.

The unit’s control panel is as standard delivered in an independent lacquered steel cabinet equipped with automatic stop/start controls. These controls, that arrive with the standard model, are activated and controlled through the use of a micro-controller that is located either on the outlet valves or external contacts. The standard control panel carries a voltage of 3 x 400V, 50Hz, and an inbuilt frequency inverter can also be included through means of request as well as PLC for an additional cost to ensure that individual needs and requirements are successfully met.

As well as a customized control panel, the HVU Unit can also be ordered to include a pre-separator if larger particles need to be successfully removed and separated before the particles vacuumed reach the internal filter cartridge. Upon request the cabinet can be soundproofed internally can provided with a gate so that the user can easily access the unit if servicing in required. Upon request the HVU Unit can also be fitted with a ‘police filter’ that essentially adds a level of protection to the side channel blower from dust that may have perhaps escaped the main filter.
