DENA FC

The FC model filtration unit (activated carbon filters) is a cartridge filter design specifically engineered for the removal of pollutants that contain significant levels of solvents and particularly volatile particles (e.g., VOC – volatile organic compounds).

Cartridge activated carbon filters

This cartridge filter design, due to its expansive filtering area and substantial volume of activated carbon, enables extended saturation periods, facilitating easier planning of maintenance throughout the year.

Construction of the activated carbon filter.

  • It is constructed entirely from durable press-formed galvanized steel panels that are bolted together, creating an exceptionally sturdy self-supporting framework.
  • At the bottom, the filter features a calming chamber along with an initial set of cellulose filters (available as an option).
  • On the upper section, there is the array of activated carbon cartridges responsible for the effective reduction of volatile organic compounds (VOCs).
  • Operational mechanism of the activated carbon cartridge filter

The air intended for purification is introduced into the bottom of the filter where the calming chamber resides, which serves to evenly distribute the air to the filtration system;
subsequently, the air flows through the first set of cellulose fiber filters and ultimately through the array of activated carbon filters that thoroughly absorb the contaminants.

Common Commercial Applications

Activities involving painting, coating, resin application, adhesive use, impregnation, and lamination processes, as well as lithography on various substrates using solvent-based materials. Manufacturing processes for paints, adhesives, coatings, and/or related products containing solvents.

Optional Features Include

  • Stainless steel constructions.
  • Treated coals.
  • ATEX drainage valve.
  • Compliance with ATEX standards.
