The GICX cartridge filter features a fan integrated into its design, along with an automatic compressed air cleaning mechanism, specifically intended for the filtration and separation of medium, fine, and ultra-fine dust.
This automatic cleaning system helps maintain nearly constant pressure drops, ensuring consistent suction.
Operating principle of GICX cartridge filters
Dust-laden air enters through the side wall of the filter via the inlet connected to the panel. The larger particles in the incoming air undergo an initial reduction in speed within the calming chamber, causing them to fall into the collection hopper.
After passing through the hopper, the dust moves through the filter cartridges, transitioning from the exterior to the interior, where the impurities settle into the collection hopper. Throughout operation, the filter remains in optimal condition thanks to a cyclical counter-current cleaning system.
A pulse of compressed air, stored in a dedicated tank, is swiftly released into the cartridges, generating a strong counter-current shaking wave that dislodges and drops the particles accumulated on the outer surface of the cartridges.
Construction details of GICX cartridge filters
The GICX cartridge filter is entirely constructed from heavy-duty galvanized sheet metal, carefully processed and treated to ensure long-term durability.
It includes a pneumatic cartridge cleaning system. Additionally, it comes with support legs, access doors, an explosion-proof door, a dust collection hopper, and a collection container featuring quick-release functionality.
